ABOUT THE PROPHETS
When I was a child I often went to Metropolitan Museum, and was particularly fascinated by the realistically painted Egyptian Coptic portraits on the sarcophagi. I started, and continued drawing faces in my sketchbooks that were and are still inspired by those images. A few years ago I decided to create a large series of what I now call Prophets, defined as inspired teachers.
