About the Shelters series
Shelter as a noun indicates a safe and secure place. A place where we are shielded from the elements, and from hostile forces.
To shelter is to protect us from something harmful or dangerous.
There is a universal need to find sanctuary in the most basic or the most elaborate of shelters. These ten Shelters were inspired by the reality that millions of human beings have been and continue to be driven out of the places that have sheltered them.
